The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is the largest international wetland conservation charity in the UK. You can have a fantastic day out at Martin Mere seeing, feeding and learning about wetland birds and beavers as the only attraction in the North West that has a beaver enclosure.
During the winter months, migrating species such as pink-footed geese and whooper swans visit the spacious park, while early summer heralds the appearance of fluffy ducklings and downy goslings.
Licensed cafeteria, children's play area, shops. Excellent disabled access and toilet facilities. Talks and tactile exhibits by prior arrangement. Guide Dogs allowed.
